~Kind words~
Hardly a Sunday goes by when someone doesn't approach us and tell us how wonderful James is .Today I also got this sweet note in the mail from a friend of mine in our ward. It just made my day. James is such an amazing young man and we are so proud of him and all of our children~

Sleep Deprived?
This is a story to which every mother can relate…”An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard. I could tell from her collar and well-fed belly that she had a home and was well taken care of. She calmly came over to me, I gave her a few pats on the head; she then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in a corner and fell asleep.
An hour later, she went to the door and I let her out.
The next day she was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed her spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks.
Curious, I pinned a note to her collar: ‘I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful, sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.’
The next day she arrived for her nap, with a different note pinned to her collar: ‘She lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3. She’s trying to catch up on sleep. Can I come tomorrow?’ ”
Such a funny story.....I know there were?are days that I sure felt/feel like that!!

Finding inner peace.
Last week I was able to attend a Stake Relief Society meeting, The topic was finding inner peace. In a crazy world with SO many distractions, this meeting was truly a blessing to me. The questions were posed, "What are the things that keep you from feeling the spirit" or "distract you from becoming closer to your Heavenly Father". I was thinking that I was actually doing pretty good, but soon realized, I have A LOT of work to do. I know in my life right now, things seem so hectic and crazy, and I have a hard time turning off all of the thoughts and worries that occupy my mind!
My goal is to simply just make time to ponder and think, and thank my Heavenly Father for all of the blessings in my life. I have been blessed so abundantly. I know that he is very mindful of me, and my family
and he wants me to be happy. I see his hand in every aspect of my life, and I do know it is because of him, that my life is so full.
I am grateful for a loving Father in Heaven who loves me and who is there for me no matter what. I have also realized, that life is a gift and that the time I have is unpredictable and precious and shouldn't be cluttered with all of the negative thoughts that many times creep in!
I am determined to do better and to make time to count my blessings, and leave those things alone that are unimportant and distract me from being a better person, and to really focus on what is really important!
